Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are between

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Truffle Techs L.L.C-FZ (“we”, “us”), the provider of the Orbdit app (“Orbdit” or the “App”). By downloading or using Orbdit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms at https://truffletechs.com/orbdit/terms and update the “last updated” date. Continued use after that means you accept the changes.

3. Your licence and store terms

Your use of Orbdit is licensed, not sold. On iOS, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies alongside these Terms. For Android downloads, these Terms govern your use of Orbdit alongside the applicable Google Play Terms of Service. Apple's EULA applies to the iOS app, not the Android app.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Orbdit. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Orbdit only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Your account and your content

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the App (except where law permits); interfere with or disrupt the App or its providers' services; use the App to break the law; or circumvent purchase or security mechanisms.

7. Sharing

Orbdit lets you export your own wish cards, stories, journey cards and reflection cards through the system share sheet. Anything you choose to share is your responsibility. Orbdit has no public feed and no community posting surface.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

Orbdit offers optional in-app purchases handled by Apple on iOS and Google Play on Android; we never see your payment card details.

9. Intellectual property

Orbdit, its name, design, and software are owned by Truffle Techs L.L.C-FZ and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimers

Orbdit is a reflective and creative tool. It makes no medical, psychological, financial, or outcome guarantees and is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, where Truffle Techs L.L.C-FZ is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you habitually reside. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Brazil, India, or another jurisdiction that grants you non-excludable statutory rights, those rights (and, where the law of your country of residence so provides, the right to bring proceedings in your local courts) remain available to you, and nothing in these Terms limits them. We do not require you to arbitrate consumer disputes or to give up any right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.

13. Apple-specific terms

This section applies to the iOS app. You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Orbdit. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product-liability, legal or regulatory, and intellectual-property claims. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party list.
